NW1026 Mopar 426 Hemi “Non-Shaker” Base w/ Edelbrock Carbs Air Cleaner Metal 5 1/8 Inlet

This is a reproduction of the 426 hemi “Non-shaker” air cleaner base plate for Edelbrock or AVS carbs. Part Number NW1027 is available for the “Shaker hood” air cleaner. Our base is made out of metal just like the originals.  Don’t buy the aftermarket fiberglass ones to save a buck, they don’t work!  This is the big size (5 1/8 inch) for the AVS or Edelbrock style carbs, if you want a base for stock AFB carbs we carry those as well.  Dependent on your Carb spacing and rotation, buyer may need to modify (shape) the area of the baseplate that fits around the carburetor mouth.

The AVS carb (Edelbrock) has a bigger mouth than the stock AFB’s seen stock on a Hemi.  This is for the bigger carbs. Lid #NW1002 fits this base.
